Description
This map reproduces the map at 1/25 000 annexed to the Prefect’s letter of 18 December 2013 and allows an extension to 1/2000. This map cancels and replaces the low area maps broadcast in January 2011.
Note: The regulatory zoning of the West-Odet and East-Odet PPRLs approved on 12/07/2016 replaces the 2013 hazard zones on this mapping.
Definitions:
NMR: The Marine Reference Level corresponds to the Centennal Marin Level (NMC) increased by 20 cm to take into account the effects of climate change.
NMC: The Marin Centennal level was defined according to the methodological note of 22 January 2013 on the studies “Statistics of extreme marine levels of the coasts of France” published in 2008 and 2012 by the SHOM/CETMEF.

‘medium’ hazard areas
areas between 0 and 1 m below the Marine Reference Level (NMR)
‘climate-related’ hazard areas
areas between 0 and 40 cm above the Marine Reference Level (NMR)
ZDE: Energy Dissipation Zone (100 m) at the back of known protection systems (digues or dune cords)
