Description
LittoMOS is the result of a work to reconstruct and update a national Permanent Littoral Inventory (IPLI).
This is an updated land cover layer (data from 2000 to 2006) based on existing local land use data and a harmonised nomenclature developed from the Corine Land Cover (CLC) nomenclature.
Land cover information can be accessed at two levels:
— visualisation of the national mapping at the maximum scale of 1/25 000 th with a level 2 CLC nomenclature
— download the departmental mapping with CLC information level 2 but also level 4 (detailed).
To access the download: use the “information” tool and click on the desired department. In the information table that appears, click on the link to the zip.
The new nomenclature can be downloaded from the geolittoral site.
Land cover in 1977 (IPLI 77) is also available on the geolittoral site
