Strategic noise maps pursuant to European Directive 2002/49/EC of 25 June 2002 (transposed into French law by Articles L. 572-1 to L. 572-11 of the Environmental Code — Decree No 2006-361 of 24 March 2006 — Orders of 3 and 4 April 2006 — Ministerial Circular of 7 June 2007).
These strategic noise maps are representations of the noise exposure of populations over a wide area.
