Regional Ecological Coherence Scheme (SRCE) – Ecological Corridors – in Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur
Description
Ecological corridors are functional links allowing connections (therefore the possibility of exchanges) between reservoirs of biodiversity. These are potential pathways of movement for species. Ecological corridors thus connect biodiversity reservoirs with each other by preferably crossing areas of high permeability. Ecological corridors, do not necessarily consist of “remarkable” habitats and are usually spaces of ordinary nature.
