Description
Bicycle roads and green roads are part of a national policy of the Ministry of Ecology for the development of cycling and cycling.
Bicycle roads are a cycling network. The bicycle road network is at the finest level of cycle segments.
As a basic element of the bicycle road network, the bicycle segment is identifiable by its geometry as well as its regulatory status, a homogeneous physical advancement and coating over its entire length.
Some bicycle segments use low-use road sections, others benefit from a dedicated infrastructure for gentle modes of movement (cycling path, green lane).
