Description
‘Domfront’ is an effervescent fermented drink obtained from specific varieties of ‘perry pears’. This drink is clear, pale yellow to golden yellow. Its effervescence characterised by the fineness of its bubbles is not aggressive. Domfront’s pear has a wide aromatic palette dominated by fruity (citrus, peaches...) and floral notes that flourish with shades of exotic fruits, grilled and brioche. The flavours are balanced between the acidity, a slight bitterness and the sweetness brought by the unfermented sugars.
Domfront perry has the following analytical characteristics:
—total alcoholic strength by volume exceeding 5,5 per cent;
—actual alcoholic strength by volume exceeding 3 per cent;
— carbon dioxide content exceeding 4 grams per litre.
