Description
Area to receive wind-derived electricity generation facilities
The ZDEs are defined “on the basis of their wind potential, the possibilities for connecting to the electricity grids and the protection of landscapes, historical monuments and remarkable and protected sites”. Their perimeter is demarcated on a map at 1/25 000th.
The application for ZDE is made by one or more municipalities or an EPCI with own taxation; the application file is processed by DRIRE.
The creation of an ZDE gives it legal value and third-party effectiveness
for integration test by the DREAL BN with the gb_extract tool
