Ridings of louvetiers of the department of Marne
Description
This dataset represents the territories assigned to the louvetiers of the department of Marne, in accordance with the prefectoral decree of 27/11/2019.
The louveterie lieutenants are voluntary agents of the state, appointed by the Prefect for a five-year term. They are the technical advisers of the administration on the problems posed by wildlife management. In this capacity, they work closely with the Departmental Directorate of Territories (DDT), providing them with their field observations where they are called upon to act, on behalf of the administration, as mediators. They also contribute, under the supervision of the Prefect, to the regulation and destruction of animals which may cause damage. In particular, administrative beatings ordered by the Prefect are organised under their control and under their technical responsibility. Finally, they are sworn in with the Administrative Tribunal and commissioned on their sector.
Two fields are used: the name_name of the worker and the sector number assigned to him.
