Itineraries of the road network for the transport of round timber in sawmills and farms following the stop of 1 July 2010.
All sections of roads forming the network of roundwood transport roads for national use.
This type of transport usually requires a prior study and requires administrative authorisation. It requires a particular route, the use of adapted vehicles and special traffic conditions, in particular for timetables. The movement of an exceptional convoy requires authorisation from the prefect of the departure department responsible for the convoy. The purpose of this authorisation is to preserve the road heritage (in particular bridges) and to limit the discomfort of other road users (Road Safety).
