Positioning of water abstractions (sampling points) in the natural environment by persons of public status for the purpose of supplying drinking water to human communities (Articles L131-2 and L131-2-1 of the Public Health Code, Article L215-13 of the Environmental Code). These levies are subject to a declaration of public utility. These samples can be taken in the soil (nail or karst circulation), at the emergence of a source, or in the surface water system (river or body of water), possibly in the sea. All known active or abandoned catches are identified
