Body of fresh water located at the outlet.
Bodies of water mean a surface, free, natural or anthropogenic surface freshwater of varying depth. The term body of water covers a number of situations commonly referred to as lake, reservoir, pond, gravel, quarry or marsh. (Definition given by the Sandre). By agreement is not included in this layer water bodies corresponding to gravel or quarries during the period when they are covered by the Mining Code.
Bodies of water are described by their use(s) according to a predefined typology of uses.
By convention, for the sake of consistency with Cascade, the Pisciculture typology applies, irrespective of the species produced, to the use of the body of water covered by:
— or the ICPE regulations (heading 2130 of Decree 206-942 of 27 July 2006) where there is regular feeding and production exceeding 20T/year;
— or Article L431-6 of the Code de l’environnement et de la police de l’eau (heading 3.2.7.0 of Decree 206-881 of 17 July 2006) if there is no regular feeding or production of less than 20T/year.
A similar layer N_PLAN_EAU_SURF (#48) describes the right-of-way of water bodies. A N_AUTRE_PISCI_S layer describes off-water fish farms.
