Restricted Area of the Plan for the Prevention of Land Movements of the Clain Valley Department of Vienna
Description
For natural PPRs, the environmental code defines two categories of zones (L562-1): areas exposed to risk and areas that are not directly exposed to risks but where measures may be planned to avoid aggravating the risk.
Depending on the hazard level, each area is subject to an enforceable settlement. The PPR field movement consists of two types of regulatory zones:
1- ‘building ban zones’, known as ‘red zones’, where the hazard level is high (in urbanised or not) or medium (in natural, agricultural, little or no urbanised areas);
2- ‘required areas’, known as ‘blue zones’, where the hazard level is low (urbanised or non-urbanised) or medium (in urbanised areas) and projects are subject to requirements adapted to the type of challenge.
The PPR was approved by prefectoral order on 22 January 2018.
