Perimeter assigned to a lease lieutenant since 2020 in the department of Orne
Description
The Prefect appoints for a fixed period of 5 years the lieutenants of the louveterie and determines the territories assigned to them (CE L 427-1, Ministerial Decree of 14 June 2010 amended by Ministerial Decree of 12 July 2019, technical note of 16 July 2019 relating to lieutenants de louveterie NOR: TREL1920462N). These territories may be sub-communal. The wolfry is a hunt for wolves and other large pests, with a view to their destruction. The prefect decides by order the destruction and regulation of animals likely to cause damage. The lieutenants of the lease will manage these destructions and regulations under the control of the departmental management of the territories. The number of lieutenants is determined according to the area, afforestation and relief of the department. These lieutenants are the technical advisors to the management of wildlife.
