Aquitaine: Eolien Regional Diagram — Wind-friendly Communes
Description
This dataset presents the municipalities favourable to the development of wind energy, defined in the “Regional Wind Scheme” approved on 6 July 2012 and annexed to the regional climate, air and energy scheme (SRCAE).
These favourable areas have been identified taking into account, on the one hand, wind potential and, on the other hand, easements, rules for the protection of natural areas, natural and cultural heritage, landscape complexes, technical constraints and regional guidelines for energy production (SRCAE).
A list of the municipalities in which these favourable areas are located has been drawn up and is contained in the Prefectural Decree of 6 July 2012. The territories of these municipalities constitute the territorial delimitations of the regional wind scheme within the meaning of Article L. 314-9 of the Energy Code.
