Description

A National Wildlife Hunting and Wildlife Reserve (RNCFS) is part of the protected natural areas (ENP) which are designated or managed within an international, Community, national or local framework with a view to achieving specific objectives for the conservation of the natural heritage. National hunting and wildlife reserves are terrestrial or marine protected areas managed primarily by the National Hunting and Wildlife Office. It ensures the maintenance of sustainable cyngetic activities and the definition of a sufficient network of undisplaced spaces that can accommodate, in particular, the migratory avifauna. They fall under IUCN Category IV. Legal references: Articles L422-27 and R422-92 to R422-94 of the Environmental Code.
