Description
Scope of Local Action Groups (LAGs) set up under the European Leader Programme (2014-2020) under the rural development programmes (RDPs) of each Member State.
In practice, territories (Country or Regional Natural Parks) draw up a strategy and an action programme. They are then selected by a regional call for projects. The territories selected, organised in Local Action Groups (LAGs), are allocated a financial envelope to implement the action programme. A programming committee composed of local public and private actors then selects the projects included in this action programme.
