Filegeodatabase of Chena River habitat map with no water column 2022
Description
File geodatabase containing substrate imagery and mosaiced imagery derived from raw side-scan sonar scans conducted throughout the lower Chena River in 2021 and 2022 using a side-scan sonar unit (Humminbird Helix 15). Raw data were processed using SonarTRX software following the protocol listed in "Side scan sonar post-processing guide, SonarTRX protocol, mosaic creation, and interpretation. Cameron Bodine, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission". The resulting file geodatabase was further processed to remove the water column resulting in a this file geodatabase which was subsequently analyzed manually following "An Illustrated Guide to Low-Cost Sonar Habitat Mapping" and "Side Scan Sonar Processing and Interpretation" to classify substrate types and produce substrate-specific shapefiles for the area surveyed.
