XML file schema files ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The various XML files that you will find in the CBD datasets are linked to definition files (XSD) allowing several levels of validation and consistency: • Statec_cdb_mass_xsd_hierarchical_v1.0 • Statec_cdb_mass_xsd_data_type_hierarchical_v1.0 • Statec_cdb_mass_xsd_assertions_hierarchical_v1.0 • Statec_cdb_mass_xsd_cancellation_v1.0 These schema files also aim to make it easier for you to integrate and operate this data in XML format in an IT system. **On the dataset “Annual accounts”** — Declaration files “deposit_YYYQX.xml” are linked to schema **“statec_cdb_mass_xsd_hierarchical_v1.0.xsd”** which includes a portion of metadata and a list of declarations. — The complexity of the declarations involves the use of a second XSD **“statec_cdb_mass_xsd_data_type_hierarchical_v1.0.xsd”** which defines the different formats, types and lists of allowed values. — The consistency of the amounts, given the proposed hierarchical format, implies the use of a third XSD **“statec_cdb_mass_xsd_assertions_hierarchical_v1.0.xsd”** which verifies the different amounts in absolute and relative terms. **Concerning the dataset “Cancelled Deposits”** — Files of cancelled repositories “cancellations-2012-202YQX.xml” are linked to schema **“statec_cdb_mass_xsd_cancellation_v1.0.xsd”** which includes a metadata part and a list of declarations. STATEC pointed out that the Centrale des Bilans does not provide IT support for the operation of the files.
