Contrast (landscape types) (OGV, 2010) (history)
Description
On 2 June 2010 the Environmental Vision was established by Provincial Staten van Drenthe. Map 2B shows the contrast (landscape types). The quality and diversity of the Drenthe landscape greatly contribute to the attractive environment for living, working and recreation. The identity of the Drenthe landscape is determined by its origins and the diversity of landscape types. The provincial ambition is to preserve and strengthen the diversity, quality, identity and liveability of the landscape. Of provincial importance is the preservation of landscape characteristics and the interdependence and strengthening of the different landscape types.
