EHS 2008, search area robust connections and ecological connection zones (history)
Description
The robust connections and ecological connection zones are essential parts of the EHS (Ecological Main Structure), but traces and the implementation has not yet been completed everywhere. For that reason, they are shaded on the EHS card. The rules of the game do not apply to the shaded area, with the exception of the nature reserves below. They are part of the EHS. When the completion of the connections is completed, that result is shown on the EHS card. The following data were used for the connection zones:The robust connections and the stream valleys with nature development as ecological connection zone (POPII, map 3.) and the search area EVZ (yellow areas from report Goed op Weg 2007).
