Expected foreground locations and zones
Description
Voorden are crossings through streams and rivers that are fortified for part of the year. These places have a great archaeological importance and here there is a high expectation on the discovery of not only infrastructure-related finds such as (remains of) paving and bridges, but because of the special significance of these sites also ritual depositions. In 2019, an inventory was carried out on behalf of the Province of Drenthe on behalf of the province of Drenthe and mapped out the projected locations and zones.
