Surface Water Quality Indicators: Detection of Pesticides in Waters (2021)
Description
The presence of pesticide substances in waters is due to the use of plant protection products in agriculture. Some of these substances are taken into account in the chemical status assessment and are regulated in the RDSE, while others are not yet regulated, and could pose a risk as potential pollutants. This analysis considered all pesticide substances extracted from the Monitoring Programmes (monitoring and operational control programme) intended to assess the status, in compliance with state and European regulations, for which information is available in NABIA (Water Status and Quality Information System).
