Prussian primordial measuring table leaves 1: 25 000 3047 Groß Schönebeck
Description
The production of the Prussian Urmess table leaves began in 1822 for the entire territory of Prussia. The cards were hand-drawn unique items in scale 1: 25 000.
They were not published, they should only form the basis for map works of smaller scales.
With the -Instruction for the topographical works of the Royal Prussian General Staff of 1821 and with the explanations to the sample sheets for the topographical works
of the Royal Prussian General Staff, the content and design definitions were made.
The primordial measuring table sheets mark the beginning of topographical cartography, which has evolved in different stages, but which is still based on these roots.
The cards are available plano and are mainly available as print. Individual card sheets have been revised in the color scheme and are thus even more similar to the original.
These are available as a high-quality plot.
