Known archaeological values (Ambient Vision 2014) (history)
Description
The version of Known archaeological values adopted by the Provincial States of Drenthe on 2 July 2014. For known archaeological sites of provincial interest (values) there is no research exemption. Applies to both in situ and ex situ conservation. From a selection of known and valued archaeological sites (values), the province of Drenthe believes that they should be preserved “in situ” (in the soil) for future generations and future scientific research. Together with the provinces of Groningen and Fryslan, the province of Drenthe maintains the Northern Depot in Nuis. Here, ex situ archaeological heritage is managed responsibly and made accessible for research. Appears in map 2 E: Information Archaeology.
