Main ecological structure 2013 (areas) (Environmental Vision 2014) (history)
Description
Version of Ecological Main Structure 2013 (areas) adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014. The province of Drenthe considers nature within the bounded EHS as core quality. The link between biodiversity and natural values (inside and outside the EHS) is high. The Nature Vision 2014-2040 elaborates on how the province can strengthen this cohesion and what importance it has in nature values outside the boundary EHS. The EHS is the backbone of biodiversity in the province of Drenthe.
Together with the ecological connections, this layer creates the Ecological Main Structure in the map Core Quality Nature (map 2A).
