TT Circuit (Environmental Vision 2014) (history)
Description
TT Circuit adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014.The TT circuit in Assen is economic, recreational, sporty and from an employment perspective of great importance. However, the circuit is located in an environment that also knows its interests: nature reserve Witterveld, villages and residential areas, as well as recreational facilities such as campsites. It is important to reconcile all interests in a balanced manner. For this reason, in close cooperation with the municipality of Assen, the province concluded an agreement with all parties involved in 2012 with an integral vision with corresponding implementation programme axis for the TT circuit and its environment.
