Description
Version of Hard Border City and Country adopted by Provincial Staten van Drenthe on 2 July 2014.On map 2B: Core quality landscape, near the city edges of Assen, Hoogeveen and Meppel, has drawn a hard border between city and country. There the cities are bordering on landscape and cultural historical values. The Drentsche Aa (Assen), the Oude Diep (Hoogeveen) and the Reest (Meppel) are iconic for the spatial quality of Drenthe. These values want to preserve and strengthen the province of Drenthe.
