Description
The map shows the depth (in m below NN) of the base of the clastic sediment sequence of the coastal holocene in the region of Lower Saxony. The intervals have a distance of 2 m. Since in the coastal area the deposited sediments are under no or low water cover, the depth of the base of the coastal holocene corresponds to the layer power of the deposited sediments. The GIS file was created by rastering the GOCAD® area at a distance of 25 m and transferred to a polygon shape.
