Air Quality download service for verified and Up To Date data, 2013-now
Description
This is the metadata that refer to the services available to download 'air quality verified and Up To Date data'.
There are two types of services provided:
1) The "Air Quality Download Service" provides access to air quality measurements time series. Data can be filtered by countries, cities, pollutant on verified data (E1a - reported by countries by 30 September each year for the previous year) or unverified data (E2a - Up To Date/UTD reported by countries in real time).
2) The "Parquet downloads web api" where the desired requests can be made and downloaded.
The selected time series will be downloaded as zipped Parquet files. More information on how to view and convert the content of the Parquet files can be accessed below in 'Visualisation of Parquet files' and 'Convert Parquet to CSV'. The Parquet is an open source binary file format built to handle flat columnar storage of large volumes of data.
