As part of the evaluation of the management plan developed in 1999, repeated censuses of pointer species and extensive soil analyses were carried out in 2002. The focus is on the correlation between the occurrence of different degrees of diversity in the meadow populations of the Marchfeld Protection Dam and the abiotic factors that can be influenced by management measures.
