REDIAM. WMS Turbidity Data (NTU) of water in the lower course of the Guadalquivir River (2009-2010)
Description
WMS service corresponding to the set of Turbidez images (NTU) covering the lower course of the Guadalquivir River, from the municipality of Alcolea del Río to its mouth. Data obtained from geometrically and atmospherically corrected images of the Landsat 5 satellite captured by the TM (Thematic Mapper) sensor during the period 2009 to 2010. A high turbidity of suspended solids prevents the penetration of light into water bodies, limiting water quality and the development of aquatic life. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
