Description
shown are the official living areas of the city of Hamm. The attribute table contains the names and identifiers. On the basis of their administrative, urban and natural structure, municipalities can be divided into spatial units of different sizes. These are used, among other things, for the collection and illustration of statistical data for the entire city and its individual sub-areas. Both the academics and those responsible for municipal planning use a small-scale approach to make visible the distribution of certain features within a city, the concentration of social conditions and the associated challenges. The spatial reference frame in Hamm forms a division of the urban area into 9 social rooms and 27 living areas. Living areas are spatial units above the block groups.
