Map of natural radioactivity in Umbria for Google Earth

Description

The natural radioactivity of Umbria was determined through the UMBRIA-RAD project, which defined the distribution of natural radionuclides and radioactivity of cosmic origin with complementary investigation methods, including sampling of rocks and soils and overflights, followed by detailed laboratory analyses in order to determine also the effective dose of natural radioactivity. The data below is available in the .KMZ format for Google Earth and there is also the location of the sampling points.
