Technical plans – tree cadastre
Description
The data of the Karlsruhe tree cadastre contain location and tree species (pine tree, deciduous tree, fruit tree,...) of all digitally collected trees stored in the urban geodatawarehouse.
Trees are in the area of responsibility of the Horticultural Office (GBA). But also trees under the responsibility of other offices of the city administration, which the Property Office (LA) documents in the general city topography.
In the database of the LA trees, however, there are also trees on areas of the state of BW or of churches. LA trees are also possible on private land.
Some of the trees are measured terrestrially. In individual cases, deviations from the non-terrestrially measured tree sites of several decimeters are possible.
The status of the individual data sets is very different and cannot be named holistically.
No guarantee can be assumed as to the completeness of the data. The data is collected according to the respective processes in the data-providing offices of the city.
In order to further enrich the database, users of the Transparency Portal can themselves send new tree locations to the city administration.
