Description
Salt marshes in Overijssel. This file shows the amount of seepage in a dry, medium, wet, and extremely dry year (1976). Gravel is groundwater that comes out of the soil under pressure at the surface. In general, seepage is caused by an underground flow of water from a higher area to a lower area.
