State of the art in the ceramics industry.
Description
The report of the Federal Environment Agency describes the state of the art for plants for the production of ceramic products. In particular, the production of masonry tiles, roof tiles, refractory products, expanded clay, table ceramics, sanitary ceramics, technical ceramics, ceramic-bound abrasives and furnace ceramics in Austrian companies is presented. The report also contains the state-of-the-art values for emissions to air, such as dust or organic compounds, for wastewater emissions, such as solids, metals, as well as inorganic anions or organic compounds, and for energy and resource consumption. These are derived from the description of the associated production technologies, emission reduction technologies and current emission values.
