The map of Warm Period: Average duration of the warm period (months). No. of months whose average maximum temperature is greater than 30oC, belongs to a group of thematic maps based on agroclimatic variables called Characterization or Agroclimatic Information. The map of Warm Period corresponds to a model of the average duration of the warm period (number of months in which the average temperature of maximums is greater than 30 ° C) represented through a map of hyposometric inks, in which each region of Spain is characterized according to whether the warm period lasts between, 0-1, 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 months. This information is produced by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food by geostatistical interpolation methods (kriging) from the data of 1803 stations belonging to the network of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
