Relative elevation in the Oulu region
Description
A dataset is a raster level where the attribute information is the number of meters above (positive value) or below (negative value) the pixel relative to the average height of the surrounding zone. There are raster levels for zones of different sizes, where the area is 100 m, 200 m, 300 m and 500 m in radius. The data has been produced on the basis of the National Land Survey's 10 m resolution elevation model. The material has been generalized to a resolution of 100 meters.
The data was produced as part of the HERCULES project/consortium funded by the Academy of Finland's Climate Change and Health (CLIHE) research programme in 2020-2023.
