WMS Drinking Water Hamburg
Description
WebMapService (WMS) with the test sites from the drinking water database ZTEIS in Hamburg.
The WMS service is subject to data protection regulations and is exclusively for visualisation in the drinking water portal.
In the drinking water database ZTEIS (central drinking water collection and information system) test results are collected which are carried out by the drinking water laboratory of the Hamburger Wasserwerke in accordance with § 14 Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV) and by the Institute for Hygiene and the Environment pursuant to § 19 TrinkwV.
The investigations are carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Drinking Water Ordinance and come from both the waterworks and the pipeline network.
The Authority for Health and Consumer Protection (BGV) is responsible for verifying public water supply. The primary purpose of the database is to ensure reporting in accordance with § 21 TrinkwV.
Since 2003, approximately 24,000 samples with approximately 1.2 million test results (as of February 2014) have been stored in the drinking water database.
