WMS Digital Orthophotos and Place Names MV (WMS_MV_DOP_ON)

Description

Digital orthophotos (DOP) are high-resolution, distortion-free aerial images that have a uniform image scale and an exact reference to the country coordinate system. They document the state of the landscape at a given time and contain all the landscape information visible from the “bird’s perspective” without having been selected or structured. DOP are photo-based, pixel-based, geocoded and positional and are available with a floor resolution of 0.1 m (DOP10), 0.2 m (DOP20) and 0.4 m (DOP40). The use of image processing methods creates DOP from the current aerial image stock. Starting with the year 2004, the DOPs are also available as color infrared images (CIR). Since 2013, the flotation areas have been included both inside and outside the leafy situation. The topicality for the state area is about three years. Aerial photographs or DOPs are ideally suited to understand the historical development of landscapes and settlement areas. This service is used to display digital orthophotos (DOP) with a soil resolution of 0.2 m in combination with the place names (ON) from the Digital Landscape Model (DLM). It is operated by the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, State Office for Internal Administration.
