Description
This material describes the results of the Kira-Digi-funded DigiConcrete Conspetition Testing project.
Concrete is the most used construction material in the world and it is important to ensure its quality in the construction process. The concrete construction process consists of a variety of topics, where ready-made concrete is often produced far away from the site in a ready-made concrete factory and from which it is transported to a construction site under various conditions from a transport vehicle for dismantling and casting. Detecting possible quality defects as early as possible is important because the earlier the errors are detected, the less the error correction

DigiConcrete is a collaborative organisation formed by Finnish construction companies, research institutes and start-ups, which uses digital methods to find solutions for quality management and productivity improvement in the sector. The aim of this project was to identify new tools and methods that could be further developed into commercial methods serving the sector.
