Description
Panorama Landscape gives for the whole of the Netherlands – in 78 regions and a separate article on the large waters – a short character sketch of the history of the landscape, from the perspective of centuries of changes. These landscape characterisations do not include an appreciation of the landscape heritage, or an exhaustive inventory of all kinds of elements and patterns. They are small biographies, focusing on the genesis (history) of the landscape: from prehistory to the present.
