Vertical irradiance profiles from the North Atlantic, IMR cruise 2013107
Description
Measurements of irradiance (PAR) at depth from the North Atlantic. Vertical profiles of downwelling light intensities were measured with a hyperspectral radiometer by lowering the instrument over the side of the vessel, as close to solar noon as possible. Light levels were then integrated over the spectral range 400 - 700 nm, generating estimates of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR).
