Description
The areas of the national parks in M-V were digitised separately (--> primary data).
The areas of the individual national parks were stored together with the areas of the biosphere reserves and nature parks in a shape file.
From this, the areas of the national parks were selected and stored in their own shapefile.
The present limits represent the official interpretation of the ordinance cards (developed by the Grand Protected Area Administration).
