In order to obtain the seasonal average behavior of k490 (Transparency of water) (m-1), in the Andalusian coast, through the calculation of the seasonal average images of the historical series. The diffuse attenuation coefficient in the water indicates how the light inside the water column is attenuated, which helps to characterize the transparency of the water and therefore estimate the state of turbidity of the waters of the Andalusian coast. In addition, this parameter has many applications in ocean optics, such as its relationship with the concentration of phytoplankton and dissolved organic and inorganic sediments in seawater.
