Description
The Service for Forests, Mountains, Nature Systems and Wildlife in the performance of the functions of the Regional Wildlife Observatory has been collecting wildlife data on vertebrates (Mammals, Birds, Amphibians and Reptiles) since the early 1990s, through direct reporting by biologists and naturalists employed by the Public Administration and through specific research programs that over the years have affected the various animal classes.
This dataset collects the detections of the presence of mammals in the Umbrian territory. The information is associated with a grid of 10 km side (50 km for sensitive species).
