Description
GTFS file of theoretical data of the IZILO network of Lorient Agglomeration.
GTFS (general transit feed specifications) is not an official standard. It is a format designed and promoted by Google, maintained by a technical community, which is the de facto standard in the USA as well as for the publication of TC data in open data because a whole community of developers (forums) and tools (open source tools) has developed around this format.
GTFS is a simpler format (CSV format, one file per data type: stops, calendars, schedules, etc.) than NEPTUNE, but it has similar objectives.
GTFS is the de facto standard for publishing TC data on the web, especially under an open data license.
It has been updated frequently since the introduction of the Traveller Information Assistance System. The link to the delegate ratpdev is updated in real time (GTFS-RT), a GTFS is also available faster as soon as a change is made.
