Interim Environment Regulation, Restrictions Livestock farming
Description
The Interim Environment Regulation designates areas with the designation ‘Restriction of livestock farming’. The boundaries of these areas are linked to the boundaries of the extensification area established under the Reconstruction Act. In the designated areas, (extensive) restrictions apply to all livestock farms. The purpose of the designation is to prevent further intensification due to developments in livestock farming in the designated areas. An exception shall be made within the area for land-based livestock holdings; the conditions laid down are the same for all livestock farms.
