Sightings of marine fauna on the coast of Andalusia (birds and cetaceans)
Description
Location of sightings of seabirds and cetaceans on the coast of Andalusia in the period between 2003 (depending on the species) and 2011. The distribution of the fauna is offered in grids composed of cells of 1Km. x 1Km., so that within the same cell different species observed in different years can appear. The associated alphanumeric information indicates in each record, species, year and number of observations. It includes a layer that brings together all the available information (birds and cetaceans), two others that group birds on the one hand and cetaceans on the other and 19 specific layers for each species of each group; This provides access to data at various levels of disaggregation.
