Description
The historical map — the area of the cities of Berlin and Potsdam — was published by the Brandenburg State Survey in 1990 as a colour reproduction. The originals are in the Staatsbibliothek Preußischer Kulturbesitz in Berlin. Available in landscape format (36 x 24 cm) the small-sized map shows the surrounding area of Potsdam and Berlin in 1780. In the north, the map is bordered by the settlement Tegel and Lake Tegel, in the southeast are the Spree and Cöpenick and in the southwest the city of Potsdam. In addition to the extensive representation of the settlements and cities, the main connecting paths, partly illustrated by rows of trees, are also depicted.
